I’m the owner and maker behind Sonnet Candles. I first started making candles as a hobby because I couldn’t find candles I could enjoy without having a reaction. I wanted to understand why I couldn’t enjoy fragrance like everyone else so with a little research I discovered that some of the ingredients in candles may be the reason. This inspired me to start Sonnet. I thought if I react to candles there are other people who may experience this too. I create home and body fragrance products designed to not overpower or overwhelm but are scented for everyone to enjoy.
I started this blog to get back to something I loved doing back in the day and missed. Here I’ll talk about candles and so much more. Thanks for stopping by!

These are a few of my favorite things…
- I don’t drink coffee but I am a big tea drinker. I especially love Chai. The number of mugs I own is impressive.
- I’m an eat dessert first kind of woman. If there’s cake, I’m there 🙂
- I am a book lover. I have a TBR that’s a five miles long and the number of books in my house well it shocks most people. I need a library.
- If you ask me my favorite color I’ll tell you it’s polka dots and stripes. I know that’s a pattern not a color so I also love the color Pink in all variations. 🙂
